How to use Tipo
Bring the people, files and decisions into one shared place before, during and after a meeting.
1. Create the project
Add a client, create a project and invite the people who need ongoing access. Project access stays separate from your other client work.
2. Add the work
Upload a PDF, image or MP4, or add a supported video link. New file versions stay attached to the same project record, so everyone can review the current work without losing its history.
3. Start or schedule a meeting
Open the project’s Meetings area. Invite signed-in collaborators or create a temporary guest entrance link for someone who should join only that meeting.
4. Guide the room
The host can lead everyone through the same file, page and review view. Use the pointer and annotations on the work itself. Participants can stop following when they need to inspect something independently.
5. Capture the outcome
Record private or shared notes, decisions, actions and feedback while the context is fresh. When the meeting ends, its record stays connected to the project and reviewed files.
6. Keep project messages together
Open a project and choose Messages to use Tipo’s built-in project conversation, private member messages and private groups. The central Messages page collects every conversation you can access and shows unread counts without exposing messages from other projects.
Connect Slack
An organisation owner or admin first opens Settings → Connected messaging and connects the Slack workspace. Invite the Tiponote app to the intended Slack channel. Then open the project’s Messages → Project messaging home, choose Slack, select the workspace and channel, and save. If the channel is not listed, paste its Slack link or channel ID to verify it.
Connect Discord
An organisation owner or admin connects the Discord server from Settings → Connected messaging. In the project’s Messages → Project messaging home, choose Discord and the dedicated channel. Two-way mode requires Tipo’s Discord relay to show as online; notification-only delivery can still send project updates without importing replies.
Connect Telegram
An organisation owner or admin selects Connect Telegram group in Settings, chooses or creates the intended group in Telegram and adds the Tipo bot. After Telegram confirms the connection, return to Tipo and choose that group from the project’s Messages → Project messaging home. Individual members can also use Link my Telegram identity for private delivery.
Choose the right connection mode
Two-way project conversation syncs messages in both directions and should use a dedicated external channel or group for one project. Notifications only sends labelled Tipo updates outward; several projects can share the destination, and external replies are not imported into Tipo.
